A Circle of Children is a 1977 American drama movie.
The movie is based on the 1974 autobiographical novel A Circle of Children by Mary MacCracken about her experiences working at a school for emotionally disturbed children.
The school's headmaster describes the students as "autistic, schizophrenic, brain damaged, emotionally disturbed", though it is not stated what the diagnosis of each individual child is.
A sequel titled Lovey: A Circle of Children, Part II was released in 1978. It is based on the 1974 autobiographical novel Lovey: A Very Special Child, also by Mary MacCracken.
