Magical autism is a recurring theme of an autistic character who has some sort of supernatural abilities. The implications vary from character to character. Sometimes them being autistic is related to their supernatural abilities (see also: indigo/crystal children and the changeling myths). Sometimes it's just a character with supernatural abilities who happens to be autistic. The character may be more vulnerable to paranormal shenanigans like becoming possessed by a malevolent entity. Often there is a certain interplay between a character's autism and their magical powers, such as explosive exhibitions of their abilities during a meltdown.
