Diane Fletcher is a main character character in the romance novel Love Over Gold by Talaith Gladvert.
Character creation
Author Talaith Gladvert is autistic herself. She has also worked as a support assistant to students with developmental disabilities, including autism.[1]
The story was written in 2018 but set during the Olympics in 2020. A second edition was released in 2020, with a partial rewrite that accounts for the postponement of the Olympics due to the COVID-19 pandemic.[2]
