Ethan Johnson is the main character in the short film Icarus in Love.

Character creation

Ethan is upset to discover he's been robbed while taking a swim in the ocean.

The short film is based on the true story of a 15-year-old with Asperger's syndrome who went missing as he made a 950+ km bike trip without telling anyone.[1][2]

Biography

When his childhood friend Amy moves away to Sydney, 15-year old Ethan Johnson makes the 1008-kilometer trip by bike to go see her.

Ethan is stated to have Asperger's in the film's summary.[3][4]
