Tara is a main character in the young adult science fiction novel Watchdog by Will McIntosh.
Character creation
Author Will McIntosh has twins, both of whom have ADHD and autism.[1] He usually writes for adults, but wanted to also write something he could share with them, which is how Watchdog came to be.[2]
Autism
Tara is stated to be autistic in the novel.
