Biography
Tyler is an 18-year-old attending a summer camp for teenagers with disabilities. A boat with camp counselors suddenly starts rocking and flips over, which is blamed on the supposed monster in the lake. Paranormal investigators come to check it out, and soon find out than Tyler has telekinetic abilities and it was him who rocked the boat form a distance. They also discover that he has lump that suddenly appeared, which turns out to be a parasitic twin. Tyler had recently started a new therapy, which presumably caused the twin to awaken and his powers to manifest
Autism
Initially thought to be deaf, Tyler was diagnosed with autism at a young age. He speaks very little and is often rocking. After his parasitic twin is removed, it is noted that his autistic symptoms improve and that he is expected "to make a full recovery". The paranormal investigators suspect that Tyler was not autistic and that instead his autistic traits stemmed from constantly having to suppress his parasitic twin.
